Simple measures to support your immune system. Presented by Dr. Lyndsey Maher. Online
Immunology, how the immune system protects us from the world, is a hot topic right now. It is also a topic prone to misinformation. Are you curious to learn about your immune system and how to best support it to prevent unnecessary illness? Discover the strengths and secrets of your immune system by attending Hamden Public Library’s free virtual program "Simple Measures to Support Your Immune System" on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Dr. Lyndsey Maher will present this program. A licensed naturopathic doctor practicing in Hamden and a graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s School of Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture Institute, Dr. Maher will explain how to optimize and strengthen the immune system with simple nutrient and lifestyle changes. She brings her personal story to the topic. Less than enamored with conventional medicine’s approach to her own health issues, she found naturopathic medicine. Healed from what plagued her, she sought to empower and educate others on how to make the lifestyle adjustments necessary to promote health, rather than just abate illness.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Please register here.
