Consumer advocate Richard Nathan will tell you about the benefits of credit unions, how to invest on your own with no-load mutual funds, how to buy new and used cars wisely, how to save money when getting car, home, and life insurance, and how to reduce property taxes on your home with the best money-saving websites at your disposal. Mr. Nathan has been teaching consumer education workshops for more than 30 years in high schools, colleges, and libraries in CT, NJ, MA and NY. He graduated from the University of New Haven with a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. For three decades he worked as a teacher in the Department of Correction.
