Winter Sowing Workshop at Whitneyville In-Person
Join Certified Connecticut Master Gardener, Jim Sirch for a workshop about propagating native plants from seed.
Did you know that including native plants in your garden is an important way to provide food and habitat for our pollinators?
Expand your native plantings inexpensively by growing them yourself from seed. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the germination requirements for different species and get you fully prepared for next season. You will be able to plant a plastic milk jug filled with a planted seed selection to stratify over the winter. Proper after care will also be shared.
Please bring a one-gallon plastic milk jug to use for this workshop.
Space and supplies are limited - Registration is highly encouraged.
