Learn the basics of sourdough bread baking with Isabelle Laufer. This fun workshop teaches the basics of sourdough - what sourdough is, how it works, and why it’s so special. Learn what makes a great loaf. You will get to see, touch, and smell real examples. You can see the tools Isabelle uses to create the perfect dough. 

Isabelle Laufer is a friendly breaducator here in Connecticut. A nurse by trade and a homegrown cook and baker by heart, she blends her love for teaching with a passion for all things homemade and steeped in tradition.

This program is funded by the Friends of the Hamden Library. Seating is limited. Registration is recommended.
