VA Medical Foster Home

VA Medical Foster Home In-Person

Join Sarah Jane Dailey, LCSW from VA Connecticut Healthcare System and explore the VA's Medical Foster Home Resource Guide for Veterans and potential caregivers in a brief presentation at the Hamden Miller Library.

"When living at home alone becomes unmanageable, Veterans can choose to receive comprehensive support while living in a Medical Foster Home. The Medical Foster Home (MFH) Program is a National VA program, new to CT, that offers Veterans a permanent home-like environment to support their continuing care needs. We are actively seeking loving caregivers willing to be paid to provide supervision and care for Veterans in their private homes. To learn more about the VA Medical Foster Program, please attend this informative event."
